Tom Gray is a nationally certified counselor (NCC), licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC, Maryland & Delaware, USA), distance credentialed counselor (DCC), and life/wellness coach. Recently, Tom was awarded a Dept. of Defense contract as a Military Family Life Consultant. He is ordained by the Church of the Nazarene and has been in full-time ministry for more than 25 years. He holds a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College, and is a doctoral candidate for the PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision from Regent University. He teaches/trains internationally: Pastoral Care/Counseling, Field Traumatology, Care for the Care-Giver, Burnout Recovery/Prevention, and Marriage Enrichment. Tom and his wife, Karen (34 years) lived and ministered in the Middle East for 7 years from 2003-10. They currently reside on Kent Island, Maryland, on the east coast of the U.S., where Tom is director of New Hope Counseling Center, and an associate with TELOS International, an international counselor education non-profit . Tom and Karen are parents of 2 married daughters and grandparents of 2 grandsons.
